Agent 007 on new adventures in new book
James Bond is back to the 60s in a new novel about 007, says the BBC. The author William Boyd has approached to write the new Bond book, scheduled to be released in 2013.

The novel has as yet no title, but Boyd has revealed that the story will be a ”classic Bond” set during the late 60s. Boyd, who is the third author in recent years to get the offer to write a Bond novel, did not hesitate to say yes. Jeffery Deaver wrote, ”Carte Blanche” which was published in 2011 and Sebastian Faulks wrote ”The devil’s service” which was issued in 2008.
William Boyd made his debut in 1981 with his novel ”A good man in Africa”. It and several of his other novels have been filmed with Bond stars in the roles. Sean Connery played in ”A good man in Africa” in 1994, Pierce Brosnan in ”Mister Johnson” in 1991 and Daniel Craig in ”Shooting Grave” in 1999.
